Lot 1030: Sold for £110 hammer

Estimate £80-£120

A Victorian style stripped pine chest containing thirteen drawers with turned wood handles on a plinth base, height 84cm x depth 48cm x width 120cm, and an associated bookcase enclosed by a pair glazed doors below an arched cornice, height 86cm x depth 28cm x width 132cm, some damages to both. (2)

Condition report
Stripped and will need waxing. The base section / chest appears to be of later 20th Century construction that has then been stripped. The insides of the drawers are dirty and the whole piece would benefit from a clean and waxing. There is a split to the top of one of the drawer fronts. The upper bookcase section has woodworm flight holes in places.
