A pre-war original photograph of Aston Villa vs Portsmouth football teams at Villa Park with pencil note to the reverse 'Prior to the match, both teams, their managers and directors filed on to the field and after that a speech by F.H Normansell the Villa chairman for peace and thankfulness. Three cheers were given for Mr Chamberlain to which the huge crowd joined with a roar', the picture shows, the teams, managers and directors giving three cheers, possibly 1938, 19.5cm x 25cm, and a photograph of the actor Noel Purcell (1900-1985) in naval uniform and smoking a cigar.
