Lot 1250: Sold for £270 hammer

Estimate £300-£500

A Victorian oak library table, the black leather inset top with thumb-moulded edge above two frieze drawers to either side, raised to turned, tapered and reeded legs with applied porcelain castors, height 76cm, knee height 56.5cm, width 168cm and depth 122cm, some damage.

Condition report
Faded and some water spot marks, scuffs and minor dents in places. The leather skiver has been replaced at some point and is in good condition. There is a chip out of the top of one of the legs. All handles are present to the four drawers and are OK. One of the drawer locks has been forced at some point - there are dents to the drawer front and to the frieze below. All castors function. There are four later oak furniture feet that can raise the height by 4cm.
