A silver plated Long Service award of a Welsh Guardsman, in full military dress wearing a bear skin and holding rifle with left foot forward on ebonised plinth with presentation plaque 'Presented to 2407861 LSgt M W Edwards By The Sergeants Mess for 22 Years Service 1st Battalion Welsh Guards' , 37cm high, together a plated salver also for twenty two years service with certificate and a with a print of a painting by Mr Edwards of himself when he was a young Welsh guardsman in number three company on RFA Sir Galahad 8th June 1982, the scene depicts the survivors of the attack in Fitzroy waters during the Falklands Islands war.
