A late 17th Century and later cased inlaid walnut marquetry long case clock by John Clowes London,the moulded square top supported by Corinthian capitals and ebonised twist columns and inlaid hood,the long trunk door with two shaped panels of floral marquetry on a similar base,the 10'' square brass dial with winged cherub spandrels signed below the silvered Roman chapter ring,engraved with spherical interlocking centre ,subsidiary dial and date aperture ,the movement with five knopped pillars to an anchor escapement,count wheel and striking on a bell,200cm high.
