An early 17th Century and later embellished carved oak wall cabinet, the fixed shelf interior enclosed by a pair of spindle chequer strung and panel doors below a beaded edge and scroll cornice centred by a coronet above three applied diamond motifs, the centre carved with a face, four stylized circular roundels to each corner, height 97cm, depth 32cm, width 85cm. Sold by Bruton Knowles and Company as lot 394 from the sale of late Mr T.G.Burn, Rous Lench collections Friday 31st October 1986.
