An early 18th Century Japanese suit of armour (early to mid Edo period) - The internally signed thirty two plate Kabuto mounted with a gilt running calve over a mempo above lamellar riveted cuirass decorated with a chasing dragon bordered by flowers on a black background with flag carrier, embroidered sectional side and part chain mail mounted fabric sleeves and gloves on a later painted wooden stand, heigth 118cm.
