A late 19th Century Castle Hedingham pottery candle holder made by Edward Bingham, the whole decoration in the maiolica style formed as a small planter decorated with grotesque bearded heads flanked by squawking ducks raised to four curved supports decorated with relief moulded ivy leaves and wheat shealves leading to a domed base with relief moulded leaves, all in tones of blue, yellow and green, incised and applied marks, height 36.5cm
