A large Royal Doulton limited edition 'The Shakespeare Jug' decorated in relief with characters to include Falstaff, Shylock, Ophelia, Autolycus, Othello and Hamlet stood upon moulded books with comedy and tragedy marks, the rim inscribed 'Great heir of fame, dear son of memory', the spout formed as Shakespeare in profile, printed mark to the base with 'Sweet Swan of Avon' verse, numbered 345 of 1000, height 27cm
