A late 19th Century rosewood Bonheur du jour with marquetry inlay in the Oriental taste, detailed with vases, furniture, teapots, bottles and writing implements, the galleried upper tier above an alcove and a drawer flanked by a cupboard at either side, all over a single frieze drawer and ebonised cabriole legs with gilt metal mounts united by a stretcher shelf, height 100cm, width 71cm and depth 40cm.
