A late 19th to early 20th Century Japanese Kutani pedestal moonflask decorated to one side with a male figure on horse back, male figures pulling a carriage and surrounded by robed male attendants, the reverse with a landscape scene with figures in a boat and walking across a bridge, both to a patterned ground with scarab beetles, karakusa scrolls and gilt leaves, the sides with two dragons climbing, forming the handles and with panels of fish jumping out of water, painted three character mark, height 19cm
