An early 19th Century Chamberlain Worcester desk inkwell, the rectangular body with hand painted floral sprays and gilt detailing to the moulded border edges, the affixed handle formed as a gilt laurel leaf flanked by two affixed pen stands formed as baluster vases, flanked by two affixed circular pots containing a separate pounce pot and ink pot decorated with gilt vines and garlands and conforming floral sprays, the whole raised to four claw feet, painted script mark, length 27cm .
