A late 18th to early 19th Century Worcester porcelain mask jug of baluster form relief moulded with cabbage leaves beneath a cylinder neck and applied scroll handle, the bulbous body decorated with three cartouche panels of exotic ho-ho type birds with gilt frames, all to a blue fish scale ground, the neck with hand painted garlands of flowers and gilt swags flanking a mask head spout, possibly from the workshops of James Giles, blue fret mark to the base, height 21.5cm S/D
