A set of eight 19th Century walnut chairs by Holland & Sons circa 1860 in the historical style with reference to William and Mary and Queen Anne tastes having a fluted cross form stretcher base with barley twist legs rising to an over stuffed seat with leather cover and stud work trim all below an arched panel back. The panel back having a molded border and barley twist side columns with pewter inlay depicting a family crest with rampant lions and knight's helmets within a marquee with foliate scroll work.
