A Chinese late Qing dynasty famille juane vase and cover of shouldered ovoid form with shallow collar neck decorated with relief moulded stylised bats holding double rings, below a domed cover with spire finial, the whole profusely decorated with chrysanthemum, radish and other flowers amongst karakusa scrolls on the yellow ground between repeat pattern borders to include ruyi motifs, bears spurious rust red handpainted Ch'ien Lung mark to celedon glaze ground, height 32cm, together with a carved hardwood stand, ILLUSTRATED
