A 19th Century Staffordshire puzzle jug decorated with a black and white applied transfer print depicting an elephant, leopard and figures on horseback in a landscape setting, (possibly from the 'Indian Sporting' series after drawings by Thomas Williamson, first published 1805), with the printed verse 'May good attend, each honest hear and all who act a generous part' beneath the initials SU, unmarked, height 20cm
