An Elizabeth I silver seal-top spoon later converted to an Apostle spoon, makers mark probably Nicolas Bartholomew, 1579, the fig shaped bowl with faceted tapering stem and later converted Apostle knop with impressed Holy dove nimbus, probably converted when pricked date 1657 and betrothal initials added to the reverse, length 18cm weight 1.8oz.
