A late 18th Century mahogany longcase clock with later associated 8-day movement striking on a bell, the hood with Corinthian columns to either side of the 13.5 inch brass dial with date aperture, with silvered chapter ring and centre detailed with a scene of a shepherd and shepherdess and also a ship at sail, signed 'W. Barnish, Rochdale', with triple pilaster suporets to the trunk over shallow ogee bracket feet, height 225cm, S/D.
