A late 19th Century Japanese Meiji era lady's fan with bamboo and ivory sticks, with Shibayama decoration of flowers and foliage set with stones and relief gilt decoration, the fan hand painted with various birds to a landscape setting.

Condition report
Sticks all in good order, the silk and paper fan panel has some slight holes where it has been slightly eaten by a bug and also some wear to the fold lines, generally though in good order. Please see images for detail.
