A late Victorian Gothic Revival oak metamorphic library chair, with fret-cut detail to the back of the chair and with four floral patterned woodwork panels to the treads of the steps, height of steps 89cm, width 45cm and seat height 45cm.
Condition report
There is a 4cm glued repair to a split to the left hand upright section of the chair, just above the seat panel. There is a screw hole to the outside of each of the right hand legs. Otherwise scuffs and scratches commensurate with age.
