A late 19th Century silver fruit basket by John Round of oval section raised to four ball feet with pierced body, foliate and shell chased decoration and a frill rim beneath a high arched handle with rococo scrolls, original blue glass liner, hallmarked for Sheffield 1897, width 17cm.
Condition report
The silver is all in good order. The blue glass liner has a chip to one side which has had a partial polish but still visible.
