A pair of 19th Century Opera glasses by Chevalier of Paris, the gilt metal case relief moulded with cherubs and putti to a garden setting, named to the eye pieces, together with a smaller pair by Emil Busch decorated with panels of mother of pearl. (2)
Condition report
The Chevalier pair show some small chips to the eye pieces and slight dent to the decorative casing with general wear and discoloration. The mother of pearl pair have general age related wear and rubbing to the gilded finish.
