Lot

Lot 526: Sold for £160 hammer

Estimate £100-£150

A pair of late 19th to early 20th Century terracotta garden urns, the campana shaped urns on Aesthetic style naturalistic bases fashioned as ivy clad tree stumps, height 106cm, S/D, and one of the urns A/F. (2)

Condition report
Both of the urns have been cemented to their bases. Some general weather damage to each of the urns, but one of the urns has been broken and extensively repaired with a glue / cement mix. Some of the lime has washed down from these repairs and has stained the side of the urn and the pedestal. The other urn has been broken through its pedestal support.
