A 19th Century majolica teapot in the Aesthetic style, the body decorated with two panels both with birds and insects perched on branches, the handle and spout imitating bamboo and the lid with a seated Chinese figure, underglaze painted T to the base, height 20cm, S/D, together with a 19th Century teapot of tapering square form with relief decoration and a pewter cover, unmarked, height 21cm, S/D. (2)

Condition report
Majolica - damage to the finial, hairlines from the rim into the body and heavily crazed. White pot - hairline across the base, scuffs and marks
