An early 19th Century silk needlework sampler worked by Mary Ann Field, Campden School with Earth and Heaven verse with a running floral garland border, dated 1824, visible size 38cm x 28.5cm, S/D.
Condition report
There is an old repair to a split on the last three lines of the second paragraph. There is patch staining and discolouration. The garland colours are still quite strong.
