Lot 1305: Estimate £400-£600

A pair of 19th Century mahogany fold-over card tables, each with a thumb moulded edge above a plain apron and raised to turned and tapered reeded legs with applied porcelain castors, dimensions when closed height 76cm, width 90cm and depth 45cm. (2)

Condition report
Both of the tables have been restored and repolished at some point. They have replacement green baize linings. There are some scuffs and scratches in places. Table 1 - Numerous old cigarette burn marks around the corners of the inside of the top. The veneer has blistered slightly to the inner border. Glued repairs to the front and rear left hand legs. Table 2 - There is a filled repair around one of the hinges to the fold-over top. Some old cigarette burn marks to the top and also to the corners of the inside of the top, but not as many as the other table.
