Five assorted early 20th Century 6in dust pressed tiles decorated with fruit and foliage to include one marked The Broughton with a pomegranate to the front, a Brown, Westhead Moore & Co tile transfer decorated with lemons, a Maw & Co tile with raised pomegranate and a similar Mintons example, S/D. (5)
Condition report
The Minton example with raised pomegranate has chipping to the central and the leaf to the below. The Maw example has chipping to the edges. The printed example has scuffs and marks to the edges. The back of the Brown-Westhead tile has been sprayed silver and has visible crazing. The Broughton tile has two fleabites to the edge and visible, stained crazing.
