Lot 153: Estimate £800-£1,200

A Chinese celadon Longquan style baluster vase, Qing Dynasty (1644-1912), raised from an unglazed footrim extending to an everted rim, the body incised with zoomorphic creatures below stiff lappet borders, the cast relief elephant handles flanking the neck, with all over greenish/grey ground, height 21cm.

Provenance:
Part of private London collection, accumulated over the last 50 years and hence by descent.

Condition report
- Noticeable fritting throughout. - Small glaze chips to the relief areas. - Scuffing and wear to underside of the footrim.
