Rachel has been involved in the auction business since 2006 starting her career with Bonhams Auctioneers, after studying a post graduate Masters degree in Conservation of Fine Art . A year later she trained as an auctioneer and became Asian Art specialist, further developing her passion and interest for anything from the Far East. In 2013 Her career then took her to Wright Marshall where she was regional Head of Fine Art for the regional firm. In January 2019 Rachel joined Fieldings Auctioneers as Head of Business Development and Asian Art Specialist, bringing her knowledge and passion to the West Midlands, also making Fieldings the only Midlands firm with a dedicated Asian Art department.
Rachel has a young family and enjoys the challenge of being a working mum, relying very heavily on caffeine! Rachel also appears on ITV’s Masterpiece with Alan Titchmarsh, where she is the co-presenter and resident antiques expert.
Rachel hopes to continue to develop the Asian Art department at Fieldings and has a keen interest in vinyl records and entertainment memorabilia.
