A George IV mahogany dome top tea caddy with inlaid chequer strung borders, the interior containing three painted zinc cannisters, height 15cm and width 24.5cm, later repairs, A/F, together with a Victorian walnut glove box with cross-banded borders, height 9cm and width 29cm, S/D. (2)

Condition report
Tea caddy - extensive repairs. Some splits and small sections of veneer loss to the lid. The rear section of the lid has been re-veneered and there are tacks inserted to the sides. The keyhole escutcheon is missing. as are the feet. The lid has a later paper lining and the cannisters may have been painted later. Glove box - The drop-front panel is slightly warped. There are some splits to the sides. There is no key.
