Seven late 19th Century framed Staffordshire pot lids comprising The room in which Shakspeare [sic] was born, 1564, Stratford on Avon, Hide and Seek, S/D, The Residence of Anne Hathaway, Shakspeares [sic] Wife ..., Shakspeares [sic] House Henley St, Stratford on Avon, S/D, A Pair, Uncle Toby, The Seven Ages of Man, The Enthusiast and War, S/D, together with The Picnic with base, S/D, and a later 20th Century lid commissioned by Elsenham Quality Foods. Condition report
Shakspeares House has been damaged and reglued. Hide and Seek has a chip at 5 o'clock. The War has been broken in half, The Picnic lid has been in half. The framed examples are sealed, so the backs and edges are unexamined.
