A pair of 19th Century Whieldon type candlesticks each of naturalistic form, the pedestal formed as a trunk glazed in brown with a band of green spaghetti type decoration to the top and bottom, both pedestals with applied monkeys climbing, the sconces formed as flower heads glazed in yellow and grey, the octagonal base in green, brown and ochre glazes, unmarked, height 24cm, S/D

Condition report
Both have glaze chipping to the feet, one flower head sconce has chipping and glaze losses. Some minor chipping to the spaghetti.
