A 19th Century George Jones majolica tea for two comprising teapot, sugar box and cover and a two teacups and saucers, each decorated with relief moulded strawberry blossom and basket weave bands against a blue ground, the interiors in blue and bases in pink, each with a diamond registration mark and painted number, teapot height 16cm, S/D.
Condition report
The teapot has an old steel cap to the spout to cover damage. All pieces show ware and use. Nibble chips to the underside of the sugar bowl.
