Lot 1075: Sold for £650 hammer

A George III crossbanded oak dresser, the panelled cupboard back on a base enclosed by a pair fielded arch fan paterae inlaid cupboard doors below a frieze drawer flanked by three drawers to each side and reeded corner pilasters, later pierced fret drop handles, on ogee bracket feet, height 197cm x depth 51cm x length 215cm.

Condition report
Later panelled back to the upright section. Minor losses, parts of bracket feet are loose and the front left foot is missing. There is a split between the planks of the top of the base section. The carcass of the base is pine. The drawer linings are in conforming pine. The back board of the bottom drawer on the left hand side has been replaced. There are no apparent side splits. No apparent woodworm damage.
