A Sino-Tibetan figure of Avalokitesvara, cast seated on bird, holding a ritual axe aloft, and further holding attributes and adorned with jewellery, raised on a lotus plinth base, height 26cm.
Condition report
Natural wear to the relief points, therefore there is loss to the gilt throughout.
Figure is weighted and the underside shows the weighted interior of the figure.
