A large 19th Century Italian Scenery blue and white meat plate, or well and tree carving dish, transfer decorated with a landscape with classical buildings in the background and figures and cattle in the foreground, printed mark, 52cm x 41.5cm, S/D, together with a large Spode meat plate or platter decorated with a Chinoiserie landscape, impressed mark, 47cm x 36cm, S/D. Condition report
Italian Scenery - There is a deep stained chip at 7 o'clock. The edge and back has scuff marks and scratches. There is a large chip to the back of the supporting foot rim.
Spode - there is a long running hairline from the right side into the body. Various nibble chips and losses to the front showing the white body beneath. Scuffs and scratches to the edge and back
