A late 19th Century oval basket with a wide pierced border edge with gilt detailing, the central well with a floral spray with dark pink bands, raised to a conforming oval stand, unmarked, length 32cm, together with a Belleek oval basket with flowers to the rim edge, applied banner mark, length 30.5cm, both A/F. (2)
Condition report
The pink basket has several breaks and old crude repairs most noticeably to the handles. Heavily rubbed to the central decoration and to the gilding.
The Belleek basket is badly broken and has chipping to the flowers.
