ANTHONY MENDLESON (1915-1996) - A costume design for Sidney Poitier as the character Aly Mansuh in The Long Ships, gouache, signed and dated '63, framed, 46cm x 28cm, frame size 57cm x 39cm, also a companion 'Nightgown design for Rosanna Schiaffino as Princess Aminah'. (2)<p>NB: The Long Ships was directed by Jack Cardiff and released in 1964.

slight foxing to one of the mounts otherwise good.
