A late Victorian prie dieu or prayer chair, the ebonised frame upholstered in Berlin beadwork tapestry fabric, together with another prie dieu with barleytwist supports, S/D. (2)
Condition report
There is some wear to the beadwork and the tapestry on the first chair. The second chair has been re-constructed with a new seat rail around the underside of the drop-in seat pad.
