A 19th Century large glass marriage goblet, the round funnel bowl etched William and Ann Fall, 1870, surrounded by fruiting vines above hollow stem between waisted knops with internal coin, raised to a conical foot, height 28cm.

Notes - This item appears to be from the spring 1870 marriage of William Fall and Ann Thornton in Leicestershire. In the 1871 census, they were residing in 6 Oxford Court, West St. Mary's, Leicester. His occupation is given as "shoe finisher" and hers as "silk winder."

Condition report
There is a small little craze or frit mark to the interior of the bowl near the upper rim. Some age related wear to the base
