A late 17th to early 18th Century German or Dutch Daumenglas and cover in pale green-tinted glass, the barrel shaped vessel with eight large impressed thumb-holes around the middle, the hoops of the barrel represented by milled trails, with an applied ring foot, the domed cover with acorn knop finial, height 31cm, S/D.

Condition report
Stress crack to the lower section of the body running through the edge of the foot and slightly up in to the body.
