A large late 19th Century Clutha Glass vase of compressed propeller form, designed by Dr Christopher Dresser (1834-1904) for James Couper & Sons of Glasgow, circa 1880, green glass with trailing milky and aventurine inclusions, height 34cm. NB - This piece was loaned to the Victoria & Albert Museum between July and October of 1975 to celebrate the centenary of Libertys of London. Ref - Literature: Halén, Widar Christopher Dresser: a Pioneer of Modern Design London 1990, pp. 174 and 175, figs. 194 and 195 where similar vases are illustrated.

Condition report
All in good order and free from damage or repair. There is minor age related wear.
