A late 19th Century jug formed as a bear with muzzle spout and raised arms decorated in an all over Ewenny type yellow glaze with incised features and detailing, inscribed to the front Y Baer, marked to the base Rd 141692 Horace Elliott, London 1890, height 20cm, S/D.

Condition report
There are nibble chips and losses, most noticeably to the ears. There is all over crazing and imperfections in its firing. There is a bruise flaw to the left arm which has white powder in.
