An early 20th Century Scottish Arts and Crafts vase decorated with hand painted stylised flowers and foliage, all in the style of Mak Merry, unmarked other than monogrammed H.A to the base, possibly for Hugh Ugolin Allan, height 11.5cm. NB - Hugh Ugolin Allan (1862-1909) established Allander Pottery in 1904 on the banks of the River Allander in Milngavie, Scotland. Allan was a renowned Glasgow artist, known for his landscapes. The pottery was only in production from 1904 until 1908.

Condition report
No chips, cracks or restoration. Some surface scratching and pitting to the glaze.
