Four late 19th Century Staffordshire Toby jugs comprising on Ordinary Toby, two Snuff Taker Tobys and one seated Toby, all with painted decoration, tallest 26cm, S/D, together with a 19th Century Staffordshire George Whitfield type character jug modelled as a Nightwatchman sat in a red chair holding a lantern, unmarked, height 24cm. (5)

Condition report
Staffordshire Tobys - All have paint flaking. The snuff taker with the red coat has crazed lines to the handle and the green Ordinary has firing lines to the handle. Nightwatchman - There is considerable stained crazing to the base and a rubbing line, which appears as a stained line. There are paint scuffs and glaze flaws all over.
