An 18th/19th Century Tibetan Amitayus thangka fragment, distemper on cloth, depicting the bodhisattva seated in meditation flanked by devotee figures, 35cm x 22cm, in frame 48cm x 34cm.
Condition report
Colours are faded and have darkened over time.
Areas of loss to the pigments throughout.
Cracking to the painted areas.
The fragement/painting has not been removed from the frame and therefore the condition of the edges and verso is unknown.
