A Chinese late Qing Dynasty (1644-1912) fang ding (ceremonial ritual vessel), the bronze vessel of archaistic form, rising from four tapered legs, with arched looped handles and edged flange to each corner, cast with taotie and concentric designs, unmarked, with later wooden cover and stand, height 15cm, 12.5cm x 10cm, S/D.

Condition report
One leg has been crudely re-applied to the base with a screw through the central well. Good overall patination and verdigris.
