A Chinese Qianlong period (1711-1799) European subject famille rose part service, comprising large circular charger dish and five matching dishes, each similarly decorated with a central fan shaped panel filled with figures on horseback before a European Arcadian landscape, all within an acanthus and floral swag border, largest diameter 38cm, further dishes diameter 23cm. (6)

Condition report
All smaller dishes have hairline cracks to the verso, which are very feint when viewed from the front, two dishes have several chips to the rim, the remaining three have small 'nibbles' to the rim. Charger - Small chip to the footrim, minor hairline cracks. All colours are vibrant with only minor paint loss.
