A 19th Century pocket sundial compass in a hinged treen case, with paper covered dial and with a calendar to the inside of the hinged cover formed by paper gores, unnamed, height 2.5cm and diameter 5cm, together with a late 19th to early 20th Century brass cased pocket compass with paper register, diameter 4cm, S/D. (2)

Condition report
There is a remnant of leather to the outside of the case indicating that it may have originally been leather covered. The paper gores to the inside of the lid have dried out and curled slightly and there are some water stain marks to the same. The paper dial / register is also stain marked or foxed in places. Brass cased compass - some scratches around the outside of the case and some nibbles to the edge of the cover.
