A late 18th Century oak longcase clock with a thirty-hour movement striking on a bell, the twin scroll hood with blind-fret frieze above the 11 inch brass broken arch dial, with engraved pagoda to the silvered centre and with date aperture, signed to the arch 'William Pain, Godstone', height 201cm.

Condition report
A single lead weight and the pendulum are present. There is some loss to the blind fret detail and the base is split. The seat board has been constructed later and may have been modified in order to accomodate the movement.
